Caring for children and youth is one of the important things to focus on, mainly because they are still developing and tend to lean on guardians to support and that allows grasp skills faster. One thing to remember is working with children with special needs are Children first before anything else. Just like children they need a safe, comfortable and welcoming place to thrive. To help them learn even more, children with special may need more encouragement and praise. We also have to recognize that children and youth with special needs have unique needs day in and day out.
